Faanunu Family Adventures

Ava surprised Mom and braided her hair today! Such a big 5 year old girl!

 Now that the weather is warming up, we are back to outdoor discoveries and we went back to Dairy Corner the moment it opened back up! 

 We went back to the Indianapolis Museum but, this time we took the Wilson family with us and it was a blast! We were able to experience their HUGE outdoor sports grounds and tree playhouse with was so fun! They tried all the sports! We took our time at the dinosaur exhibit and even created our own dinosaur creations that moved on the screen!

 Today James was baptized! He was so excited and all his friends and family were there. Nannie taught about Baptism and Daddy baptized him. Then Poppa taught about the gift of the Holy Ghost and then he received the gift of the Holy Ghost through the laying on of hands. He received a KEY from Brother and Sister Witt, a BLANKET from the Madsens, and a NECKLACE OF RAINBOW BUBBLE GUM from Nannie and Poppa. We had yummy refreshments. It was truly a tender experience for all and he said he felt the love of God. We came home and had James' 8th birthday party themed DRAGONS! We painted dragons, played "Get the egg from the dragon's lair" where Ben put on a blow up dragon costume and chased the kids around to protect the egg. Inside the egg was a puzzle that lead them to the front yard where we had a pinata up. Afterwards, we opened gifts and ate some cake and icecream. It was simply a WONDERFUL day. 

 Today was Ben's 42nd Birthday! We had Nannie and Poppa over for his favorite dinner of steak and potatoes with brownies as his staple dessert. Melanie taught the FHE lesson on baptism as James is about to be baptized and did a great job! We are so grateful for Ben and how wonderful of a husband and father he is.   

 This morning we celebrated James' 8th birthday by opening presents and making him his favorite breakfast! Afterwards we went to the church to set up and have the Primary Activity of watching the "Friend to Friend" in homemade car boxes and eating yummy food and treats! After the video, we played games until the parents arrived. We are going to do James' 8th birthday party soon! Today was a very fun day!

 03/01/23-03/02/23       Elayna participated in her first choir assessment/competition and they did well! The very next day Elayna had three teeth pulled to make space for new teeth coming in and it was ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS! She giggled a lot, moved her finger in the air, and shared the funniest things! The surgery was quick and went well. Mom was elated to have witnessed the whole thing😂 el
