Faanunu Family Adventures

Mom threw Auntie Allie a TEA PARTY themed 30th birthday party and it was SOOO fun! She learned how to make macarons for the first time and they turned out perfect thankfully! She was able to get some great deals to get 10 tea pots and used all the tea cups/saucers that she got from her Nannie. We all dressed up and had hats and gloves for everyone;) We enjoyed tea party foods/treats and played some fun games with Allie's friends. Poppa, Daddy, James, and Joshua dressed up as servers and did a great job serving and making sure we had enough tea. It was a wonderful day! Mom is SOOO grateful to have her as a sister and to celebrate her life. Families are the BEST! 

The Activity Boys gave all the boys kits to make pinewood derby cars. Mom helped James choose his shape, cut it, sand it, paint it, and then put the correct amount of weights on it. It was a sweet experience to do it together! His car performed well and stuck in the top 5! 

 Joshua LOVES to help mom cook dinner. This time, he learned how to cut safely and helped mom cut all the items for Hawaiian Hay Stacks! Love this cute boy! 

Today we honored our dedicated, hard working, funny, and wise husband/father Ben. We are so incredibly grateful for him and all he does for us! We got him the perfect shirt because this is one of his favorite perks of being a dad;)

We hired someone to install the foundation to our playground and then Elayna and I put together the swingset and trampoline. Poppa came to help Mom by put together the climbing dome. It was a large project but, we are SO HAPPY with the results!! Can't wait for all the fun and memories we are going to create!

Due to some contention, we decided to give these two some close quarters to practice loving one another. After some time, it worked and they enjoyed playing together and working together;) Family relationships take a lot of work but, they're worth it!! Families are Forever!!

Summer Camps have begun! All the kiddos chose summer sports they wanted to try out and can't wait to see what passions are lit! The boys chose basketball and football, Melanie did volleyball and basketball, Ava chose volleyball, and Elayna chose swimming team.

 Today was the kiddos last day of school! They had a fun year and made some wonderful friends. Mom made them a special lunch;) They are so excited for summer!!!

 Mom was able to spend lunch today with Ava at school! We did an activity and then ate lunch on the playground in the sun- it was so fun!

 Due to the beautiful weather, Mom convinced Daddy to have a lunch date on the beach! We grabbed our beach chairs, bought Silver Beach Pizza, and ate on the beach in the sun. These are one of the many experiences we get to enjoy here!
