Mom and Dad 18th Anniversary

Mom and Dad celebrated our 18th anniversary in Chicago and is was WONDERFUL! We started our adventure with some greek food, drove to Chicago and checked into our hotel close to all the famous sites and it was beautiful! We got dressed up and went to the Signature Lounge on the 95th floor for dinner. We had an amazing view and the food was absolutely delicious! We then went back to out hotel, dressed down and warmly, and walked to Navy Pier where we rode the famous Chicago Carousel and enjoyed the incredible evening view of Chicago. 

We enjoyed a wonderful nights sleep and in the morning we packed up and then went to get a couples massage. DIVINE!!! Afterwards, we went to lunch at an amazing pizza place that served delicious gluten free pizza and then walked to the famous BEAN in downtown Chicago along with other sites nearby. We took a taxi cab back to the Pier which was fun, got some gelato, and then waited our final experience of the weekend- a dinner cruise! We boarded the ship and found our table and enjoyed the view as they prepared the food. It was a beautiful view and we had a wonderful time reflecting on our marriage. We enjoyed the delicious food, walked around the boat and, the best was dancing together on the dance floor to many of our favorite songs. The best one though came last per our request- "At Last" by Etta James; our song. It was a magical weekend and we are incredibly grateful for the 18th years we've enjoyed together! Especially grateful for Nannie and Poppa who watched the kiddos for us;)
