DeVries Christmas Eve Celebration

We celebrated Christmas Eve with Nannie at Caratel with all the BEST YUMMY SNACKS/TREATS ever! Apparently, Nannie has celebrated Christmas Eve with friends serving a snack dinner for years and years and we are so grateful we get to continue the tradition together. We had everything wonderful you could think of! The only thing that was missing was Aunt Cheri, Christopher and Elizabeth and their families due to sickness and we dearly missed them. We enjoyed all the yummy foods and then Mom, Poppa, Uncle Andrew, and Auntie Callie performed In The Bleak Midwinter, we sang Christmas songs, and then Uncle Drew read Luke Ch. 2 and we finished with Oh Little Town of Bethlehem. Afterwards, Mom went with Poppa to take Nannie on a road trip to St. Joseph to see the downtown lights while everyone cleaned up.

We went home, opened our matching Christmas pajamas, took many, many pictures to get a good one for Momma;) and then went to bed in great anticipation for the next day;)

Forever Family Celebration

We were sealed as a family 5 years ago on September 1st. We were camping then and remembered that we didn't celebrate! So, we decided that it's never too late and went to the best Mexican restaurant in town- El Rodeo. They served the largest burrito we've ever seen! The food was amazing and it was so wonderful to reflect on our lives together and how grateful we are for the sealing power to be a FOREVER FAMILY.

 Andrew and Callie have officially moved to our area!! We are soooo glad they are here- especially Max because he is SOOOO snugglicious! Can't wait for more dinners/game nights together!
