Museum, Light the World Vending Machine and Ava Ear Piercing!
What a day we had!! We went to the museum and went to EVERY level this time! They had so many winter fun things there including a huge slide and a room that reminded us of a world from FROZEN. We learned about 4 amazing kids who had a major impact on the world- Ruby Bridges, Anne Frank, Malala Yousafzai, and Ryan White. We were lucky to be at the right place at the right time for two different presentations- Mary Anning- first female paleantologist and a presentation in the Greek world about how Greeks told stories on vases and made our own story vase! After all our fun, we drove nearby to donate to the Light the World Vending Machine which was a sweet experience! We bought 500 lb of food, chickens, and high quality seeds to help a farmer. It's amazing what the church is able to do when partnering with so many large amazing organizations!
Lastly, we drove to Red Robin to eat dinner. When we drove in we noticed a Claire's nearby and carpe diem'd the moment by getting Ava's ears pierced while we were waiting for the Lytle's to get there! We hadn't been able to get into a place to get her ears pierced where we live so, we took advantage of the moment and we are so glad we did! She was so excited and although it hurt more than she anticipated, she was very happy with the results. Big girl! We had a delicious dinner and drove home incredibly happy from the day.
